The AMiCA project powered by Tengu!

Ghent University, the University of Antwerp and the University of Leuven (Belgium) have been working together in the AMiCA project where they identify possibly threatening situations on social networks by means of text and image analysis.

Their ultimate goal includes ensuring the online safety of children. There are three critical situations at the centre of their research: cyberbullying, sexually transgressive behavior, and depression and suicidal behavior.

The analysis components provided by the universities are combined on the Tengu platform to ensure an approach across different media (text, image, speech, etc.) and easy scaling throughout the platform’s lifetime.
